It is with great pleasure and excitement that I joined Enactus this past week, after announcing at the World Cup in Toronto last year; this time to be the Announcer at the USA National Exposition in Kansas City!

I always enjoy the addictive energy and positivity that pervades Enactus events, and getting to meet some of the students as they competed to see, basically, who had done the most good in the world — well, it was way more exciting than meeting any celebrity, that’s for sure :).

What is Enactus? Scroll down and find out! ->

Here are some of my favorite people:

And of course, I have to share some footage from behind the scenes (including the exciting moment when I announced the winners!!):

More about Enactus:

Enactus is an incredible organization which connects students with businesses to create positive, sustainable change in the world. Teams of students from colleges and universities around the globe, build projects that align with the United Nation’s 17 Global Goals, which include NO Poverty, ZERO Hunger, CLEAN Water & Sanitation, and so much more.

But it’s not just about saving the world, and these students aren’t working alone. Instead, students are instructed to use entrepreneurship — building businesses and sustainable processes — in order to achieve their goals. Plus, established businesses ranging from Walmart to KPMG to Unilever, have partnered with the organization in order to facilitate their good works.

The upside is, that not only are these students’ projects helping to provide communities around the world with clean water, food, jobs, and more, but they are actually teaching people to help themselves, thus enabling these communities to sustain these improvements going forward. Learn more»

I can’t wait to see the winners again at the World Cup later this year, and find out what the teams from other countries have been up to. These students never cease to inspire me!
